The Athenaeum has always been considered to be a ‘local venue for local people’ and we positively encourage the local community to utilise this magnificent space when possible. That’s why we welcome charities who wish to undertake fundraising activities in this venue. While we cannot offer use of the venue free of charge we are happy to discuss favourable terms to enable charities to maximise this venue for their events however, and wherever possible.
